NanoEFX is invented in Japan and brought to market worldwide through the ECO EFX Solutions Group and its regional companies:

Tested, adopted and studied
- Officially adopted by the Audi Japan Racing Team (2017).
- Accredited exhaust-emissions testing by the Japan Automobile Transport Technology Association (JATA) on one vehicle (2013).
- Prototype developed with an engineering doctor from Osaka University. (2010)
- Fuel-consumption study by the National Institute of Technology (KOSEN), Hiroshima. (2023)
